Just in time for Cinco de Mayo. If you enjoy tacos and cheese these keto friendly shells are the bomb. Hands down one of my favorites. Heck even it you are not on a keto plan these are better than traditional shells in my opinion. I gives these two opposing thumbs up.
Ingredients for 1 shell
1 oz Colby jack or any full fat cheddar cheese
Place shredded cheese in non stick skillet form into a circle, ( will spread as it cooks). Over medium heat cook until you can safely flip, 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 30-45 seconds. Pull from pan and lay on paper towel to keep flat shape (tostado) or form over cooling rack for taco shell form. You can also make several on cookie sheet lined with foil or parchment paper in oven at 375 for approx 6 min.
